Delete your account
You can request deletion of your FireDoorApp account and its data here — including if you have uninstalled the app. If you can still sign in, you can also delete your account or workspace from within the app (Security → Delete my account, or Settings → Delete workspace for owners).
What gets deleted
When your request is verified, we permanently delete your account and its associated data — inspections, surveys, client records, properties, photos and documents — from our live systems. Residual copies then clear from encrypted database backups within ~7 days, and deleted files are permanently removed from object storage within ~30 days, in the ordinary course of backup and version rotation.
What we keep, and why
We retain only the records we are legally required to keep — for example billing and tax records (retained for the statutory period, typically six years) and a minimal record of the deletion itself. We do not keep your fire-safety inspection records after deletion; if you need them, export them from the app before requesting deletion.
How long it takes
After you confirm the request by email, we verify it and complete the deletion within one month. Deletion is not automatic on submission — the email confirmation step prevents anyone deleting an account they do not control.
