    Nine types of fire stopping, each asking only what its type needs, photographed and linked to its tested system. Capture keeps working with no signal once the survey is open.

    A survey report with its scope, the items not reached and a dated schedule of works, plus a report for each item.

    Defects

    Failing and unreached items go to the defects board, are booked on the schedule and are closed out with before-and-after photos.

What does a compartmentation survey record in the app?

Every item on the compartment line: penetration seals, linear joints, cavity barriers, fire and smoke dampers, fire-resisting ductwork, construction defects, structural protection and fire-resisting glazing. Each is pinned on a floor plan with its tested system, photos and outcome. The survey also records its scope.

Does this support golden-thread record keeping?

It keeps a register of every item, with its photos over time, its place on the plan and its tested system. That is the kind of lasting, up-to-date building record the golden thread means. Whether it meets a building’s duties is for the accountable person to judge, not the software.

How often does fire stopping need to be inspected?

There is no fixed legal interval for re-inspecting fire stopping. The Responsible Person decides how often, based on risk, plus a re-check after any works that break through a compartment. Set a reminder in months on a survey, and an email goes out when the re-survey is due.

Does fire stopping survey capture work offline?

Yes, once the survey is open on the device. Log items, take photos and record outcomes with no signal. It all syncs when you are back in coverage, photos too.
