The output

Thirteen documents, all in your words.

02What it does

In this area, Fire Door App can:

  • Generate thirteen document types from the same records, every one carrying your own terms
  • Edit forty-eight wording fields across six sets — reports, surveys, quotes, invoices, records and RAMS
  • Put your logo and your company details on everything a client ever sees
  • Number pages correctly whether a report covers four doors or four hundred
  • Bundle per-door reports into a single ZIP for a whole inspection
  • Export an inspection history as CSV from the record, and the full registers through the workspace archive
  • Print QR labels in three formats — single, standard sheet and tape batch
  • Preview a Works Completed Report before issuing it, then re-download the issued version unchanged
  • Publish an evidence pack covering thirteen evidence slots per door
  • Let a client download the same documents themselves, from their portal
  • Issue compliance PDFs — reports, packs and survey reports — with no usage charge, however many you send
  • Share the same document with a client through their portal instead of emailing a copy that goes stale

QR label sheets are a PDF too, but they carry no terms — they are labels. CSV exports carry none either.

03How it runs

The way this actually works on a job.

  1. 01

    Say it once, in Settings

Your terms, your report wording, your logo. Applied to every document type rather than pasted into each one.

    Editable termsReport wordingYour logo
  2. 02

    Generate from the record

One action. The document reads the live record — the doors, the components, the photographs, the measurements — so it cannot drift from what was actually captured.

    One actionAlways current
  3. 03

Send it, or let them fetch it

Email it, or let the client self-serve from their portal. Either way it is the same document and there is one copy of the truth.

  4. 04

    Export whatever you need

CSV of the door register, the penetration register, remedials, quotes or invoices — for your own analysis, an auditor’s request, or a handover.

04What’s in it

The parts you will use every week.

Inspection report

Cover, methodology, one or more pages per door with its photographs, and a failure summary. Length follows the door count and the number of photographs — the published sample is 34 pages for 8 doors.

Fire stopping survey report

Penetration register, tested systems, rating shortfalls, RAMs and certificate expiry warnings.

Evidence packs

Per closed remedial or defect: the photographs, the certificates and the sign-off, assembled.

Per-record reports

One door or one penetration in full, for when a single line is the whole question.

Compliance overview

A portfolio-level view for the client, rendered live rather than stored stale.

CSV everywhere

Registers, remedials, quotes and invoices — exported for your own analysis or an auditor.

06 Quick questions

Questions this area gets asked.

Q01

Can we put our own terms and wording on the reports?

Yes — terms and report wording are editable in Settings and apply across all thirteen document types, so there is one place to change them.
Q02

Are the exports genuinely open, or a walled garden?

PDF and CSV on demand, no request process and no export fee. If you leave, your records leave with you.
Q03

How large can a report get before it breaks?

Pagination is height-aware, so the page numbers stay correct whether the report covers four doors or four hundred. See real examples →
