Custom forms: your own checklist for each kind of item. Pick which checks it gets, add your own, or start from a ready-made form
Print the survey report in a design of your own, laid out page by page, for the clients you choose
Survey existing fire stopping, or record new installation and repair work — kept as separate kinds of job
Record each item against the tested system it was built to, with expired or lapsing certificates flagged
Record pass, fail, defective, N/A or no access. A failed item needs a severity; no access needs a reason
Take as-found photos on a survey. On an installation, a new item needs photos before, during and after
Send failing items to a defects board — one, a selection or all of them, with no-access items too
Label items with our QR labels, all printed at once, or use the labels already on site. Scan an item’s code to reach its survey or defect
Raise RAMS (risk assessment and method statement) from a survey or a defect
Name a survey — Block A, Block B — so two at one property are easy to tell apart

03How it runs

The way this actually works on a job.

Load the item schedule

Got the client’s item schedule? Load it — spreadsheet, Word or PDF — before the visit. The surveyor assesses each item on site. Nothing is charged until an item is assessed. Rows it is not sure of are marked Check, and a tracker shows what is done, what is left and what had no access.

Rate it honestly

Record the rating achieved against the rating required, so a shortfall is a fact on the record, not a note in somebody’s head.

Book the repairs

Give each defect a person and a date on the schedule. Close it with photos either side of the fix, and a completion report follows.

Issue the report

The survey report and per-item reports come from the same record. A report of more than 50 items downloads in parts.

Per-item reports: One item in full — picked on the floorplan, or just the ones that need attention

Completion report: The defects closed out, with photos either side of each fix

Is fire stopping charged separately?

No. All three workspaces sit on one subscription and share your clients, properties and team. See pricing →

Q02

How do we move between workspaces?

A switch in the top bar. Each workspace keeps its own records, boards and reports. Clients and properties are shared, and a building’s page shows its fire stopping beside its fire doors.

Q03

Can we build our own custom forms?

Yes. A custom form chooses which fields a kind of item asks for, and adds checks and questions of your own. Start from blank or a ready-made form: riser floor seal, plastic pipe collar, head-of-wall joint, slab-edge barrier or roof-void cavity barrier. An item keeps the form it was surveyed on, and one that fails your own check cannot be recorded as a pass.

Do we have to type every defect and product?

No. Pick from twenty-five default defect reasons or write your own. Choose products from a catalogue of thirty-nine tested products — sealants, collars, batts, boards, compounds, mortars and cavity barriers.
