How does the tested-systems catalogue work? Platform
Build a library of the systems you install — manufacturer, product, test standard (such as BS EN 1366-3 or 1366-4), classification and certification body. A quick-pick of common UK products pre-fills the factual fields; ratings always come from the actual certificate, confirmed by you. Surveyors then pick the system per penetration so every seal carries its evidence reference.
Does it certify fire-stopping systems or installers? Compliance
No. The tested-systems catalogue references the manufacturer’s test evidence and classification — a fire rating belongs to the installed system within its field of application, and your record points to that proof. Installer competence schemes (such as FIRAS or IFC) are separate and unaffected.
Can I capture installation build-up photos? Platform
Yes — each penetration takes before, during and after photos. The during-photo records the build-up the finished seal hides: backing, depth and product. Photos stay attached to the item, visit after visit.
Does it generate RAMs documents? Platform
Yes. Generate a Risk Assessment & Method Statement from a survey or defect job — pre-filled with fire-stopping hazards, control measures, method steps, relevant legislation and PPE. Review, approve and download a locked branded PDF; clients can fetch it from their portal.
How are defects and remedial works tracked? Platform
Failing penetrations become tracked defects on a board with assignees, due dates and after-photo fix evidence — moved through open, in progress, resolved and verified, with the defect reason and recommended action carried from the survey.
Does fire stopping survey capture work offline? Platform
Yes. Log penetrations, photograph each seal as found (or before / during / after when you install or re-seal) and record outcomes with no signal — everything syncs the moment you are back in coverage. Risers, basements and plant rooms rarely have good reception, so the capture flow is built for it.
